Manufacturing / Production Technician: $19.25 - $25.00 Per hour DOE (Depending on Experience)

Job Summary:

Assists other team members with lay-up and fabricate composite aircraft parts.

Schedule: Monday - Thursday, 5:00am - 3:30pm. OT as required.

Duties and Responsibilities/Essential Functions

* Assist in lay-up and fabrication of composite aircraft parts, major components, and structures using prepreg composite fabrics and other materials.
* Learning the Kanban system for SF and SR.
* Observe and learn the proper use of WI, Solumina, and the completion of the layup portion of CSOs.
* Assist with maintaining cleanliness and organization of work areas.
* Complete Cirrus University training
* Attention to detail required. Ensures that all assigned work areas are kept clean, orderly, and always presentable. Apply the 6S principle (Sort, Straighten, Shine, Standardize, Sustain, and Safety).
* Complies with all paperwork, such as work instructions, that govern job duties.
* Must be able to understand all process specifications and pertinent reference information.
* Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines and report any hazards or incidents to the appropriate personnel.
* Wears proper protective equipment during appropriate job functions.
* Complies with all paperwork, such as work instructions, that govern job duties.
* May be assigned to different work areas as production needs require.
* Performs other duties as assigned by the Team Lead, Department Supervisor, or Line Manager.
