Emerado Public School | 2026–2027 School Year

Emerado Public School is looking for a passionate, nurturing, and creative Pre-K Teacher to join our Bulldog family for the 2026–2027 school year.

This position is supported through North Dakota’s Best in Class program, which expands access to high-quality early childhood education. Our Pre-K program focuses on strong early learning foundations through play, relationships, and engaging classroom experiences.

Key Responsibilities

Develop engaging early learning experiences aligned with ND Early Learning Standards

Support development in literacy, math, social-emotional skills, and play-based learning

Create a structured and nurturing classroom environment

Monitor student progress and communicate with families

Collaborate with school staff and early childhood partners

Build strong relationships with students and families

Support school readiness and kindergarten transition

Complete required documentation, assessment, and reporting associated with the ND Best in Class early childhood grant

Salary & Benefits

Base Salary: $47,625 (2026–2027 salary schedule)

Step and lane placement based on experience and education

Single Health insurance +Dental and vision insurance

ND Teacher Retirement (12.75% tax sheltered)

Work Schedule

Mon–Thurs: 7:35 AM – 3:20 PM

Friday: 7:35 AM – 3:00 PM

60 minutes daily duty-free prep

30 minutes daily duty-free lunch

Qualifications

Valid North Dakota Teaching License with Early Childhood endorsement

Passion for working with young children

Strong communication and collaboration skills

Desire to work in a small, relationship-driven school
