RiverView Health operates a 25 bed Critical Access Hospital, RiverView Recovery Center; a chemical dependency outpatient treatment program, RiverView Home Care and five primary care and specialty clinics in the hospitals service area.

Position Status: .9 fte (72 hours per pay period)

Salary Range: $35.32 - $49.46 (per hour)

Riverview Health Inpatient and Emergency Department are currently looking for a interested RN to join our team.

While on the team we will train you to ER and then cross-train to the IPU.

We also offer incentives for picking up extra shifts Monday-Thursday an extra $12/hr and Friday-Sunday an extra $18/hr. Riverview's Foundation also offers several scholarships for students in healthcare. We pride ourselves on the care we delivery to our community members.

Qualifications: The Emergency Department (ED) Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for providing high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced environment. The RN assesses, triages, and treats patients with a wide range of medical conditions, ensuring timely and effective care in collaboration with the healthcare team. Essential Functions: * Patient Assessment and Triage - Perform rapid assessment and triage based on patient acuity. * Direct Patient Care - Develop and implement care plans based on patient condition and medical protocols. Administer medications and treatments as ordered by the physician. Provide wound care, start IV lines, and monitor patient response. * Emergency Intervention - Respond to life-threatening emergencies such as cardiac arrest, respiratory distress, and trauma. * Documentation and Reporting - Accurately document patient care and outcomes in the electronic health record (EHR). * Communication and Collaboration - Communicate effectively with physicians, advanced practice providers, and other healthcare team members. Provide patient education on care plans, discharge instructions, and medications. * Patient Advocacy and Safety - Monitor patient conditions and respond to changes appropriately. * Technical and Procedural Skills - Perform procedures such as IV insertion, catheterization, blood draws, and wound care. * Emotional and Crisis Support - Provide emotional support to patients and families during traumatic events.
