Job Opportunity: Attendant

Rate of Pay: $24.25

Status: Part-time, non-benefit eligible (average of 0-16 hours per week, weekends required)

Shifts/Hours: Saturday and Sunday, 8 hours per day. Due to the nature of this position, there might variation to days and shifts. 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, 4:00 pm to midnight, or midnight to 8:00 am.

As a Youth Assessment Center Attendant, you would be expected to carry out procedures and activities to ensure the security and well-being of persons being held in the Grand Forks County Youth Assessment Center.

Additional Information

Basic Requirements: 1. High school graduate or GED and at least 20 years of age. 2. Ability to pass a thorough criminal background investigation, including a medical and drug/alcohol screening. 3. Knowledge of dealing with people, multi-tasking, legalities of restricted environment, ability to successful pass licensing for Correctional Officer Certificate, and maintain a valid driver's license. 4. Must have availability to work every other weekend - 8 to 12 hours per shift. Max hours per week = 18.
