Description

Duties

* Plans, organizes, and executes mission support activities for Detachment 203. Provides general administrative support and management services in non-technical areas of concern to the commander/Special Agent-In-Charge (SAIC).
* Performs systems, local area network (LAN), and computer system administration duties. Provides management oversight and supervision of all communications processes, computers, and information system programs in direct support of all detachment personnel.
* Serves as the AFOSI Det 203's financial resource advisor. Serves as member of the host base financial working group and the Detachment Commander's/SAIC spokesperson on the status and availability of unit funds.
* Serves as the primary/alternate evidence custodian and manages the detachment evidence program. Receives evidence from detachment special agents and accepts the evidence in the electronic evidence database.
* Serves as the detachment liaison for personnel, equipment/supply control, and investigative support matters. Prepares applicable documents for office contract maintenance, supplies, repair services, etc.

An appropriate, valid driver's license is required for the position * Incumbent must be willing to travel on military or commercial aircraft for temporary duty or training assignments * Requires current 8570 Security+ certification * Employee must work under pressure. Emotional stability, tact, and maturity are necessary to cope with unusual and stressful situations * Irregular duty hours and overtime may be required * May be required to undergo a polygraph examination * This position is designated by the Air Force as a Testing Designated Position (TDP) under the Air Force civilian drug-testing program.
