Schedule: Full-time hours (40 hours/week) during our hours of operation: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm

Your Role as an Accounts Receivable Associate

The Accounts Receivable Associate plays a critical role in maintaining Acme Tools' financial stability. Responsibilities include:

* Researching credit applications and updating customer accounts
* Preparing and sending monthly account statements and past due reminders to customers
* Responding to sales tax related questions
* Conducting credit investigations for new credit and finance applications
* Completing credit reference requests
* Researching and resolving payment discrepancies
* Reconciling customer disputes and short or skipped payments
* Participating in weekly meetings with management on progress and status of open issues
* Performing other related duties as assigned

What We're Looking For:

* Associate Degree in Accounting or related field, or equivalent experience
* Prior experience in accounts receivable, billing, or collections
* Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills, as well as proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
* Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality with sensitive information
* Ability to work with a high level of autonomy and take initiative
* Exceptional attention to detail
* Effective and professional written and verbal communication skills
* Must be tenacious and personable, with excellent customer-service skills
