Position Summary:
Maintain equipment inventory. Perform Preventative Maintenance in accordance with (IAW) Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) recommendations or as needed to maintain the assigned equipment within OEM specifications. Perform remedial maintenance and purchasing of parts, spares, and materials necessary to support program functions. Track and execute warranties for asset maintenance. Assist with inventory and maintain inventory of spares provided for IT maintenance. Perform hardware installation, de-installation, and relocation. Create/update diagrams supporting the documentation and configuration management. Position located at Grand Forks, ND.
Position Responsibilities:
Implement enterprise print server management, security, configuration control for print servers.
Perform server maintenance and patching to include server OS updates, security patches, and any other Government required patches.
Provide technical solutions and escalated support for technical issues.
Maintain STIG compliance on hardware and software.
Provide configuration management for the production environment.
Managing file permissions and file servers
Scheduling server backups and remediating server backup issues
Minimum Requirements:
4+ years of experience (or 2+ years of technical training plus 2 + years of experience) providing maintenance, technical, logistics, and life cycle support of equipment such as desktops, laptops, monitors, printers, network devices, servers, SANs, NAS and mobile devices
DoD 8570 IAT Level II Certification, such as COMPTIA Security+ or Equivalent
Must hold an active Secret security clearance
