IN THE WAREHOUSE WORKER ROLE

In the role of Warehouse Worker, you are an essential part of our distribution operations. You will unload freight using manual and motorized equipment, check orders for accuracy, and report any discrepancies. You’ll also keep inventory organized through efficient scanning and data entry, ensuring our sales floor and warehouse shelves are always well-stocked. You’ll move inventory between the warehouse and stores, participate in scheduled inventory events, and prepare shipments with accurate item selection and loading. Sometimes, you’ll drive a company vehicle for deliveries and pickups. Your role as a Warehouse Worker also involves keeping the warehouse clean, safe, and accessible, contributing to property maintenance, and adhering to safety standards while efficiently accomplishing your tasks.

LOCATION

This position is located at our Acme Tools store at 1705 13th Ave N, Grand Forks, ND (right on the corner of Gateway Drive and North Washington).

Additional Information

QUALIFICATIONS * A valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record * Strong computer skills and the ability to learn new software * The willingness and ability to work on powered equipment (forklift, etc.) * The ability to work a rotating Saturday shift PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS * Lift up to 50 lbs. * Stand and walk on a hard surface for the duration of your shift * Frequently bend, squat, pull, push, and reach throughout your shift ABOUT ACME TOOLS For 75 years, Acme Tools has continued to be a trusted retailer of tools and equipment, serving the needs of contractors, woodworkers, and DIY enthusiasts in North Dakota, Minnesota, and Iowa as well as online.
