Duties

1. This position will support the Federal Government's response efforts to COVID-19. Plans, organizes, and directs the activities of a Security Forces Flight, ensuring that personnel comply with legal and regulatory requirements and meets customer needs.

2. Exercises supervisory personnel management responsibilities.

3. Represents the Security Forces Squadron with a variety of installation and functional area organizations.

4. Performs and enforces the full range of police officer duties within the military installation.

Requirements Conditions of Employment * U.S. Citizenship Required. * Males must be registered for Selective Service, see www.sss.gov. * If authorized, PCS will be paid IAW JTR and AF Regulations. Incumbent is subject to random testing for drug use. * The work requires a valid driver's license and the incumbent must be able to operate all Security Forces Vehicles and installed equipment. * Incumbent must be qualified in the use of required weapons, as the incumbent will be required to use firearms in performing duties. * This position is covered by the Domestic Violence Misdemeanor Amendment (30 Sep 96) of the Gun Control Act (Lautenberg Amendment) of 1968. An individual convicted of a qualifying crime of domestic violence may not perform the duties of this position. * May be required to work other than normal duty hours.
