Our team is seeking a full-time Rental Counter Associate to join our crew in our Grand Forks, ND store. Our Rental Counter Associate position earns a competitive starting wage of $19/hour and various benefits and perks. IN THE ROLE OF RENTAL COUNTER ASSOCIATE
In the Rental Counter Associate role, you provide exceptional customer service while managing rental equipment. You work to understand the customer’s needs, recommend the proper tools and equipment, and accurately manage rental contracts. You maintain professional communication with customers over the phone, through email, and in person, while providing clear instructions on equipment safety and operation and troubleshooting equipment issues. You also help load, unload, and organize rental equipment in the yard, inspect tools and equipment for damage, and record usage details. For administrative tasks, you create and close service orders and rental contracts, schedule ongoing equipment maintenance and follow up with daily reports for inventory management. Safety is essential, and Rental Associates prioritize safety standards while effectively and efficiently completing assigned tasks.
QUALIFICATIONS
- A valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record
- Computer skills and the willingness to learn new software
- Strong communication skills in person, over the phone, and through email
- The willingness to work indoors and outdoors in all seasons and the ability to work a rotating Saturday shift
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Lift up to 70 lbs.
- Stand and walk for the duration of your shift
- Bend, squat, pull, push, and reach throughout your shift
