Position Information

POSITION: PT Accounting Instructor

LOCATION: Grand Forks AFB campus.

WHO MAY BE CONSIDERED: Must be eligible to work in the United States. There is no sponsorship for this position.

TYPE OF APPOINTMENT: Part-time, non-benefitted.

BACKGROUND CHECK: LRSC requires a successful background check for the selected candidate prior to beginning employment.

JOB SUMMARY: Teach3 credits per 8-week term, fall and spring. Late afternoon to evening classes: Elements of Accounting I and Elements of Accounting II.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Master’s degree in accounting preferred. Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Accountancy, Managerial Finance, or Business Administration with concentration in accounting and an active CPA certification. Minimum skill requirements include excellent communication and interpersonal skills; experience with Microsoft Office suite; teaching experience and/or five years of practical work experience; capacity to build rapport with students, faculty, and staff; and ability to work cooperatively with diverse groups.

SALARY: Per LRSC scale.
