    Pay Range: $18.82 - $28.23



    Summary:

    The Dermatology Technician II assists the Mohs surgeon in the Dermatology department during the grossing of specimens. Also supports the Dermatologists and Dermatology Nurse Practitioner during procedures and general clinic practice. This position obtains lab specimens per physician order, including lab draws and urine specimens. Support is also provided to aesthetic services, including but not limited to skin consultations.



    Essential Job Functions:



    Collects data which includes: patient's vital signs, portions of the record, and information from the patient and/or family on the patient's individual and educational needs.

    Assists physician and licensed nursing staff with Mohs procedures room setup, turnover, ordering supplies, etc.

    Assists with involving the patient, family or caregiver into the implementation of the plan of care.

    Completes all documentation according to standard operating procedure as delegated by the provider. Maintains and updates OSHA and CLIA records per the direction of the Histo/MOHS tech.

    Assists with involving the patient, family or caregiver into the implementation of the plan of care.

    Performs other duties as assigned or needed to meet the needs of the department/organization.

    Nurse Aide | North Dakota Department of Health | Within 4 Months of Start Date | HR Primary Sources

    Certified Dermatology Technician | Association of Certified Dermatology Technicians | Preferred | Employee Provides HR a Copy

    Basic Life Support (BLS) | American Heart Association (AHA) | Within 90 Days of Start Date | Learning Management System
