Welder

What a Welder will do:

• Operate various types of welding tools and various hand tools
• Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, and heat numbers, if applicable
• Follow and understand standard work, training guides, weld procedures, and acceptance criteria to meet customer requirements
• Follow and understand build boards and Kanban system requirements.
• Report inconsistencies and/or defects in material, product, or equipment
• Maintain a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating in a manner so that you collaborate with customers, clients, co-workers, and management
• Help the company meet its Quality and Safety objectives

• High school diploma or GED
• Some welding experience is preferred
• Basic computer knowledge (Windows, email, internet, etc.)
• Excellent communication skills
• Basic math and reading skills
• Ability to carry, push, and pull up to 100 pounds with or without reasonable accommodations
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
