*Pay rate:* $130/Hr. - No Housing

*Job Description*
* Obtains required patient information according to standard operating procedure.
* Manages blood gases, hematocrit, acid-base balance, fluid and electrolyte balance, and anticoagulation/procoagulation of the patient’s blood under the supervision of the cardiothoracic surgeon and in accordance with established standard of perfusion care.
* Communicates any special needs required for specific perfusion cases to the appropriate departments.
* Performs intra-aortic balloon pumping and autologous blood recovery according to standard operating procedures.
* Administers cardioplegic solutions, blood and blood products, IV fluids, medications and anesthetics during extracorporeal circulation, as prescribed by, and under the direct supervision of the cardiothoracic surgeon.
* Completes an accurate perfusion care record with documentation done.
* Performs Extracorporeal membrane oxygenation initiation
* Performs TAVR standby
* Performs other duties as assigned or needed to meet the needs of the department/organization.

*Required Certification/Licensure:*
* Cardiovascular Perfusionist - Certified | American Board of Cardiovascular Perfusion | Within 12 Months of Start Date | HR Primary Sources
* Basic Life Support (BLS) | American Heart Association (AHA) | Prior to Start Date | HR Primary Sources

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $128.00 - $130.00 per hour

Expected hours: 36 per week

Schedule:
* 8 hour shift
* Day shift
* Monday to Friday
