Summary of Work
As anEmployment Advisor, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive support to job seekers, assisting them in their journey to secure meaningful employment opportunities. Through in-person visit, phone calls, and email correspondence, you will assess clients employment needs, strengths, skills, interests, career goals, and areas for development. You will provide advice, guidance on resume writing and interview preparation, guidance on navigating the jobsnd.com website and on filing unemployment insurance claim (if needed), Labor Market Information, directing to training opportunities, services, and other resources, ultimately helping clients achieve success in the job market. This position will also assist other JSND programs ensuring information is current and readily available for clients.
Minimum Qualifications
To be considered for this position, you must have the following experience/education combination:
- a high school diploma or equivalent
- at least four (4) years of related work experience
Related college-level course work may be substituted for the work experience requirement on a year-for-year basis.
