SUMMARY Farmer is seeking to fill temporary positions for 33 Agricultural Equipment Operators to operate machinery in the geographical area of Traill County ND.

ALL QUALIFIED DOMESTIC WORKERS (U.S. Citizens, Legal Permanent Residents, and other residents with work authorization) should apply before 10/1/2025 to be given preference by the employer for these vacancies. If qualified domestic workers are not found, the employer may seek to import FOREIGN workers from abroad.

DETAILED JOB DUTIES :

Assist with daily farm functions including but not limited to the following: Operate various farm equipment for planting, spraying, cultivating, fertilizing, and harvesting of crops. Load/unload trucks. May involve climbing ladders, grain bins etc. Maintain machinery. Ground maintenance on farm and/or housing, i.e. weed eating, mowing. Maintain/clean shop area. Other miscellaneous duties assigned. Rain days are typically spent in the shop repairing equipment and preparing for the next days work. Must communicate in English, follow instructions, and be physically capable of performing all job duties. 30 minute meal break Crops: sugar beets, wheat, dry beans, corn

Valid driver's license, clean MVR, employment reference, agriculture experience, must be able to run and operate farm machinery
At the sole discretion of the employer, workers may be required to submit to a post hire drug test, paid by the employer. Positive results or refusal to take the test may result in immediate termination.

Days/Hours -
DAYS : contract period is 8/1/2025 to 12/1/2025.
HOURS: 10 hours per day Monday through Friday for a total of 50 hours per week. Employee may be asked but is not required to work more than 8 hours per day on the Sabbath or Federal holidays. Employer guarantees to offer employment for a minimum of ¾ of the workdays of the total specified period, beginning with the first workday after worker's arrival at the place of employment and ending on the expiration date specified in the work contract period unless there is an "Act of God" termination. Employer will provide necessary tools/equipment at no cost.

PAY : Employees are guaranteed to earn at least $19.21/hour.

Employer will provide free housing to those workers living beyond the commuting distance. Transportation and subsistence expenses to the worksite will be provided by the employer or paid by the employer upon completion of 50 percent of the work contract, or earlier, if appropriate. Employer will provide necessary tools/equipment at no cost. Rules regarding work and living accommodations can be found in the ETA Form 790.
