Outdoor Pool Cashier/Concessions

Grand Forks Park District is now accepting applications for part-time swimming instructors to teach our Swimming Academy classes.

Duties: Responsible for the day-to-day operation of the concessions/facility. Sell daily and season tickets, collect money, and answer the phone. Is responsible for helping clean inside and outside facility, performing bag room duty, selling concession items, cleaning equipment, restocking, and other duties as assigned by the manager, coordinator, and/or pool supervisor. May teach swimming lessons. Keep manager, coordinator, and pool supervisor informed of any problems or if supplies are needed.

Experience:

* Good math skills, friendly disposition, and a combination of retail and food service experience preferred.

Minimum Age Requirement: 15 years old

Starting Wage: $12 / hour

Hours of Work: 20 – 35 hours / week (weather permitting)

Occasional evening and weekend work required.

Hours of Operation: 12:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Weekdays; 1:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Weekends

Other: First Aid Certification/CPR is recommended. Will train if not already certified. Locations are Riverside and Elks Pool.
