Life Enrichment Assistant - Part Time

Location: Valley Senior Living - Wheatland Terrace

* Recently Increased Compensation Rates:

* CNA Certified starting hourly rate from $21.11 to $25.02
* Non-CNA Certified starting hourly rate from $17.55 to $20.82

* Part-time 20hrs/week position posted
* Available shift time:
* 12:30 pm - 4:30 pm
* Monday- Friday (occasional weekends)

* Employees may obtain a CNA Certification within 120 days of hire (certification provided through Valley Senior Living).

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

* High school graduate or GED.
* CNA Certification preferred.

DESCRIPTION

As a Life Enrichment Assistant, you will help design and lead a variety of social, recreational, spiritual, and therapeutic activities that enhance the well-being of our residents. This position is ideal for someone who is organized, creative, and enjoys building meaningful connections. Flexibility to work some evenings and weekends is required.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

* Plan and implement activity programs that meet the needs and interests of residents.
* Encourage participation and provide one-on-one visits for residents.
* Accurately document all services and activities.
* Assist with care plans and contribute to quality assurance initiatives.
* Support residents with shopping needs and provide transportation as needed.
* Develop and maintain a monthly activity calendar that fosters engagement and community.
